How We Work

Weipa Wildflowers isn't your typical 9-5 Florist Shop, we live in a mining town and work around our mining rosters. So you may see us delivering flowers around 5am in the morning or after 6pm once we have finished work for the day. We are a studio based Florist that hand designs all of your flowers in our studio and then delivers directly to your door. Often by my partner Kyle, Myself or one of our amazing helpers when we are not available.   

    

I have been in the Floristry Industry for over 10 years now. I have worked  my way up from a young junior sweeping floors and emptying bins to a qualified florist completing my traineeship in Floristry in 2016. I have become a Floristry Trainer and now am the Owner/ Operator of Weipa Wildflowers. While running Weipa Wildflowers I also work as a Machinery Operator on the mines. I look forward to spending my days off creating custom Floral Arrangements and being a part of all those special life moments as your Florist- Briony
